In order to provide a discussion about the English language in the global era and the role of the English teacher in this context, this book discusses the language under three main aspects: English as a Global Language, English as a foreign language (FL), and English as a second language (S2). In addition, it explores the main methods of teaching English, giving special attention to its current methodology known as the post-method.
